SLEPc: Scalable Library for Eigenvalue Problem Computations

            http://www.grycap.upv.es/slepc

We are pleased to announce the release of SLEPc 2.2.1, a parallel
software library for the solution of large sparse eigenvalue problems on
parallel computers. SLEPc is built on top of PETSc
(http://www.mcs.anl.gov/petsc). It can be considered an extension of
PETSc providing all the functionality necessary for the solution of
eigenvalue problems.

This release is compatible with PETSc 2.2.1. In this new version, some
new features have been introduced. See docs/changes.htm for details.
Also, eigensolvers have been improved significantly in terms of
robustness and efficiency. So we strongly recommend to upgrade to the
new version.

Please send bug reports, questions, and requests for new features to
slepc-maint@grycap.upv.es
